Not a day goes by in the Just Group offices when we don't have a customer e-mail or telephone to comment about how their car cover has just blown away. Of course they are always talking about competitors products and they then go on to place an order with us (and have many years of faithful service from their purchase!) Many car cover manufacturers fail to consider the effects that the wind can have on their product and this can be potentially disastrous for any vehicle owner.

It is all too common to wander up and down the aisles of many high street and business park automotive retailers and find a bewildering variety of car covers for sale, many of them making all sorts of gaudy and outlandish claims. "Totally waterproof, protects your car down to a thousand feet!" "Protection from direct lightning strikes!" "Features new Lion and Tiger proof membrane, guaranteed!" Our happy shopper will purchase his lightning proof, lion safe and airtight cover and rush home and fit it to his beloved vehicle in a state of gleeful delirium feeling at peace with the world now that his car is safe.

That night a storm is brewing. Not a major storm by any means, but certainly a storm that would be taxing to many car covers on the market today. Easy to Fit
Our waterproof half covers are exceptionally easy to fit. They each feature elasticated straps attached to both the front and rear of the design, these hook over a suitable area on your vehicle (usually the bumpers or beneath the wheel arches) and keep the cover firmly in place. They also boast a set of handy wing mirror pockets that have an elasticated neck keeping them firmly in place. From start to finish we estimate that fitting one of our waterproof half car covers should take no more than thirty seconds.

Frost Protection
The winters of 2009/2010 and 2010/2011 have demonstrated just how useful our waterproof half covers can be. After it has been fitted it will keep your vehicle free from frost, snow and ice allowing you to spend more time in bed in the morning rather than having to scrape and chip away at the layers of frost that have built up on your windscreens and windows. The laminated polyester material is very light and durable and a far cry from the heavy rubber covers you will have used in the past. They will never freeze and split and are perfect for stopping inclement weather from harming your pride and joy. Many of our customers who buy our waterproof half car covers own convertible or targa type vehicles and despite the best efforts of the manufacturers soft or detachable roofs will never be as waterproof and durable as those on normal cars. Summer Protection
You can also use our waterproof half covers during the warm summer months; they are perfectly designed to keep the oppressive heat out of your car (hot leather seats, yuck!) and will protect the interior of your vehicle from the harmful effects of UV radiation. At best the sun can make your car feel stuffy, and worst it can bleach the colour from the fabrics and devalue your vehicle. If you already own a waterproof half cover you should continue using it throughout the summer in order to provide the maximum amount of protection.
